This is not unexpected as the owner\u2019s manual notes that is the case.  What is unexpected is that it is virtually impossible to find a comfortable position of my head and/or the steering wheel in which the warning system does not repeatedly activate.  If it activates often and/or long enough, the cruise control turns off.  This is so distracting that on an eight hour trip I finally gave up on using the cruise control when it would otherwise be most useful.  I wear eyeglasses,which apparently confuses the software. The Genesis representative insists this is a safety feature.
