Suddenly, I lost control of the steering with no prior warning or warning lights.  It was obvious the power steering was not working.  The power steering warning light finally came on about 15 min later.  Needless to say, my reaction time to potential road hazards was greatly diminished.  If my wife was driving she would not have the strength to steer.  This happened on I 30 and exit 117 in Benton Arkansas while driving 70 MPH.  There is a recall on my make, model and year but apparently not for my specific vehicle.  It cost me $3045.75 to get it repaired.
