I did not have strength to turn the steering wheel and needed someone else to drive it. There were no warnings prior to the failure, but as it failed, several items flashed. I am waiting for more information from the service center/dealer. Although it seemed that the power steering would work intermittently, the service center stated that the rack and pinion were \"dead on the bus,\" which is vernacular that is unfamiliar to me.
