Brought to the dealer and they said there are no recalls on this problem and quoted 4K to replace the CAT and exhaust pipes. There is indeed a tsb document covering Chevy Traverse years 2018-2023 - PIP5681C failed bracket weld on the exhaust pipe causes cracks. This is a dangerous situation with exhaust entering the vehicle. I have 4 children that travel in that vehicle daily! Based on what I have read online, this is an existing problem happening frequently with Chevy Traverses. I would like this repair covered by GM.
