On [XXX], the center display screen went black and the rearview camera image became distorted and unclear while reversing. Since then, every time the vehicle is started, the display is extremely dim and nearly black-and-white, and the rearview camera image is unusable. A dealer factory reset in early September 2026 did not resolve the issue; the servicing dealer (Ourisman Honda of Frederick) states the screen will most likely need replacement. This is the same failure mode covered by Honda's 2023 recall for 2018\u20132023 Odyssey models (faulty display/camera connection, ~1.2M vehicles), but the 2024 model year is excluded despite exhibiting the identical defect. Loss of the rearview image reduces rear visibility and increases crash risk.
