We immediately noticed the coolant was low, so it got topped off and then we took it to the dealer. They diagnosed the engine coolant intrusion in cylinder 4. Had we not added coolant the engine could have seized and created an accident or caused a fire. We received an $8,200 estimate for installing a new long block. Ford is giving zero assistance on this because the vehicle is more than 7 years old (oddly, Ford started putting in a different design 2.0L engine 7 years ago). This vehicle is in mint condition, only 65,000 miles and had all service done by the dealer more frequently than the service manual indicates.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2016","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"EDGE","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
