Water has entered from the top edge of windshield seal during rain. Though this defect took place in earlier models 2015-2018, the defect continued in 2020 model year ( L551). My front footwells and carpet are soaked, my infotainment system in the car went blank and upon investigation at the dealership, they've found water in the body of the car and white mold under the carpet and as a result the need to replace a lot of electrical modules etc. My car has a factory windshield, no replacement. When I went to retrieve my car from the dealer, they gave me back with a hairline crack in the windshield which the service advisor admitted that wasn't there when the car was dropped off and possibly happened during testing. Im requesting coverage for N221 to include 2020 year model. Link to technician video of his findings. [XXX] Please note : I had no idea this is how water was getting into my car. I thought my windows were left down during rain. The dealer made me aware of the defect but had no interest in doing a Goodwill repair because I'm no longer under warranty. I thank them for admitting that this is a defect however saddened that they won't fix the issue.
