We had it realigned twice, and it's still doing the same thing.  We are told by Lexus that the rear steering apparatus is broken and needs to be replaced, at a cost of $8700 to us.  Although this occurred initially under normal driving conditions, they are claiming that it's not something that is covered under their warranty.  Numerous cases of faulty rear steering have been reported for the Lexus TX and its equivalent, the Toyota Grand Highlander.  In fact, some 2026 Lexus TX models have been recalled due to concerns about structural weakness in the rear steering apparatus.
