There was the distinct smell of evaporating gas. After thorough investigation I found a fuel leak at the lower part of the fuel tank where the pump module sits. The pump module is secured with a flange ring and 5 bolts. However, when disassembling the thank I found that the tank itself (a blow molded Poly Amid part) has no \"molded in\" metal flange ring just a plastic reinforcement (higher wall thickness to provide the flange plane). The tank developed a low spot (most likely distorted due to engine heat) where the pump flange wouldn't have enough clamp force equally around the flange. Fuel was seeping through that opening. When checking the NHTSA data base I found a similar incident on record (NHTSA ID 11429012, dated 12/16/2019.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2017","productMake":"KTM","productModel":"LC4 DUKE","manufacturer":"KTM North America, Inc."}]}]}
