Capacitors within these charging systems may fail, possibly resulting in a shock hazard or a fire.","Consequence":"An electrical shock or a fire can increase the risk of injury or death.","Remedy":"Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the charge cord, replacing it as necessary, free of charge.  The recall began November 1, 2018.  Owners may contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-458-1552.  Volvo's number for this recall is R39901.
