The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) fault codes will not be stored when the vehicle is keyed off for more than 5 seconds, impairing its diagnostic features and warning light.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, \"Air Brake Systems.\"","Consequence":"An ABS system that does not store fault codes may fail to warn the driver of an issue, or prevent proper repair.  Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"DTNA will repurchase the vehicles.  Owner notification letters were mailed June 28, 2024.
