As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, \" Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.\"","Consequence":"A loss of trailer brakes or lights can reduce the driver\u2019s ability to control the trailer and decrease the trailers visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Dealers will update the ITRM software, free of charge.
