The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.","Consequence":"A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, intermittent, or blank image can reduce the driver\u2019s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed in October 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in December 2027.
