As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, \"Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.\"","Consequence":"A blocked clearance light may make the trailer less visible to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will remove the gate brace, free of charge.  The recall began on August 9, 2016.
