The  brake warning lamp that is supposed to illuminate in the event of a loss of brake fluid pressure or that there is low brake fluid may not operate correctly due to a software programming issue.  Thus,  these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 105, \"Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems.\"","Consequence":"If the warning lamp does not illuminate in the event of low pressure or low brake fluid volume, the driver will not be warned of the potential for a reduction or loss of braking capability, increasing the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Hino Motors will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the ABS ECU, free of charge.  The recall began on December 19, 2014.
