The affected vehicles may have replacement drive shafts that may twist and fail during use.","Consequence":"Failure of the driveshaft may leave the fire truck immobilized in traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.  Additionally, the truck may not be able to respond to an emergency, increasing the chances of injury for those at risk.","Remedy":"KME has notified owners, and dealers replaced the drive shafts, free of charge.  All affected vehicles have been remedied, free of charge.
