The mechanical springs used to return the accelerator pedal to idle after the driver lifts their foot off the pedal may break.","Consequence":"If the springs break, the pedal may not return to idle once the driver lifts their foot off the pedal.  This unintended acceleration increases the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Prevost will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected accelerator pedals, free of charge. The recall began on December 17, 2013.  Owners may contact Prevost at 1-418-883-2888.
