As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, \"Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.\"","Consequence":"Without the proper reflective equipment, the vacuum excavator trailer may have reduced visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.","Remedy":"Vac-Tron will notify owners, and Vermeer dealers will install remedy kits provided by Vac-Tron, free of charge.  Vac-Tron issued owners an interim notification on August 18, 2020. The recall began August 18, 2020.  Owners may contact Vac-Tron customer service at 1-888-822-8766.
